How to print acrylic?

Full process

Usually the acrylic we print are in pieces, and it's pretty straight-forward to print directly.
We need to clean the table, and if it's glass table, we need to put some double-sided tape to fix the acrylic. Then we clean the acrylic board with alcohol, make sure to get rid of the dust as much as possible. Most acrylic board comes with a protective film that can be striped off. But overall it's still necessary to wipe it with alcohol because it can get rid of the static which may cause adhesion problem.
Next we need to do the pre-treatment. Usually we wipe it with a brush dimmed with acrylic pre-treatment liquid, wait for 3mins or so, let it dry. Then we put it on the table where the double-sided tapes are. Adjust the carriage height according to the acrylic sheet thickness, and print.

Potential problems&Solutions

There are three potential problems that you may want to avoid.
Firstly, make sure the board is fixed tightly because even if it's on vacuum table, a certain level of movement may happen, and that will damage the print quality.
Secondly, the static problem, especially in winter. To get rid of static as much as possible, we need to make the air wet. We can add a humidifier, and set it at 30%-70%. And we can wipe it with alcohol, it would also help.
Thirdly, the adhesion problem. We need to do the pretreatment. We provide acrylic primer for UV printing, with a brush. And you can use such a brush, dim it with some primer liquid, and wipe it on the acrylic sheet.
